About QU.I.GU.S. project

The Project QU.I.GU.S. – Qualitative Integrated Guidance Services, co-funded within the Leonardo da Vinci Programme Multilateral Projects on the Transfer of Innovation, aims at promoting the transfer of tools and procedures for quality of lifelong guidance services in the involved territories. QU.I.GU.S. answers the need to renew and increase the quality of the territorial guidance systems providing teachers, trainers and operators involved in the supply of guidance services with homogeneous procedures and tools suitable to the development of high quality and integrated guidance paths within an inclusive system of lifelong guidance.

Further study of the project

QU.I.GU.S. is based on the results of the previous experimental italian project entitled “Experimentation of an Operational Model of the Guidance Services of the JCs” carried out by the ISFOL Agency (Job Systems Research Area) at several provincial Job Centres.

The aim of the project is to share the operation and organisation model realised by  ISFOL for the functioning of a structure which produces information, training and a mediation service for work placements.
The ideal model is based on the UNI EN ISO 9001 – 2000 terms. Said model foresees that the management of each activity is carried out following the approach for processes.

The activities can’t be considered as single activities, but as moments interconnected between them, even if carried out in only one organisation or inside an integrated framework system.

This model underlines that each action presents its own characteristics to which specific procedures, tools and professionalism correspond.

The procedures refer to the set of time-space, organisational and methodological conditions which determine the roles, functions and integration dynamics between services.
